Life-Sized Versions Of Board Games

Look out, karaoke and Rock Band – the latest party craze just might be Life-Sized Monopoly.

From San Jose's "Monopoly in the Park" to Las Vegas to colleges to community churches to libraries, everyone seems to be getting into gigantic dice and playing pieces. Hasbro last year even sponsored a global version of the game utilizing Google Maps called "Monopoly City Streets".

Here are some other life-sized versions of popular board games:

Life-Sized Version of Mousetrap:
This life-sized version of the game Mousetrap, created by Mark Perez, is a hand crafted, 18 piece 50,000-lb. interactive sculpture set atop a 6,500-square-foot, 2,000-lb game board.

Life-Sized Version of Candyland:

Lombard Street in San Francisco was turned into a real-life version of Candyland in 2009, to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the beloved boardgame.
