Sex Tourist "Animal Brothel" Busted In Washington

Adventurous sex tourists from all over the globe allegedly visited the unassuming backwoods compound near the Canadian border...for unspeakable acts against horses and dogs.

Federal agents who busted the sex operation said what took place under that blue tarp in Whatcom County was too disturbing to describe. Dozens of animals were recovered from the compound, some so damaged from their experiences they had to be put to sleep.

Douglas Spink, a former millionaire businessman, was suspected of running both the animal sex ring and a website dedicated to the abuse against animals. A sex tourist from England was also taken into custody, charged with three counts of cruelty to animals.

Whatcom County Sheriff Bill Elfo was quoted as saying:

"You'd think you've seen it all in 36 years...This shows there is something new that is shocking even to law enforcement."

  1. Huh. I read the title and thought the tourists were going there to watch animals have sex. I guess that no, they're going there to have sex with the animals.

It strikes me as a bit irrational that it's okay to kill an animal, but not okay to have sex with it. I can buy the "no sex with an animal" if the animal is too small to accomodate a human penis, but for a horse or the average pig, this isn't the case. If I knew my neighbor was having sex with his horse, I... don't think I'd care, as long as he wasn't doing it in the field where my kids could see, or where I had to put up with seeing it. Maybe we could work something out where he'd help me buy a hedge?

People seem to overreact to things like this, or at least that's my standpoint.

  2. Oh, and the horses shown in the picture look well groomed and healthy. Just sayin'.

  3. Gamebird, you have a false analogy. It is possible to kill an animal without the animal suffering. And it is obvious from the news accounts that this was about more than sex with animals, it was also about animal abuse (not that I think the former is acceptable behavior). And I'm pretty sure the photo is just stock footage and not of the actual animals in question.

  4. Well groomed and healthy maybe, it's just a shame that they were being prostituted and raped..

I expect the animals were being tortured as well as raped.

And you must consider the possibility of transmission of disease.
How would you feel if your partner/spouse fucked an animal before coming home and fucking you?

    I feel fucking sick now.

  6. With respect to bestiality on its own regardless of other abuse:

    (1) if the human is female (or a receiving male) there is obviously no harm to the animal (maybe to the human race as a whole...)

    (2) If a human male attempts sex with an animal too small to accommodate or has anal sex with the animal that is abuse.

    (3) Further, most mammals (and unless you're Troy McClure, I assume those are going to be the animals involved in bestiality) have heat cycles. I would assume sex with an animal not in heat would also be animal abuse.

  7. You can say that you expect/suspect there was torture and suffering going on, but do we have any proof of that? To my rather uninformed understanding, donkeys used in pony shows (where the animal penetrates a woman) don't require much training other than practice and encouragement.

I've seen veterinarians put their arm up to the elbow into a cow's vaginal canal and the cow showed no discomfort or pain. I've seen pictures of vets doing the same to horses, with no restraint other than a person at the animal's head. Meaning if the horse wanted to kick the vet, that was well within their ability.

The idea that putting a penis in there would hurt the animal, cause suffering or qualify as torture doesn't fly with me.

Of course, maybe they were torturing the animals anyway, but the same could be said of anyone who owns an animal. They might be torturing it. How can you tell? Are you *sure* they're not torturing it when you're not looking?

I don't think there's any more of a link between people who torture animals and have sex with them, than there is between people who torture men and have sex with them. Meaning yeah, sure, there's probably some overlap there, but so what?

Lastly, how do you tell the difference between sex and rape with an animal? I ask particularly because I've seen some knock-down, drag-out internet arguments about whether a particular accepted breeding practice constituted "animal rape". That practice being that mares brought to a stallion are generally restrained with leg ties so they can't kick their mate. (Similarly, the stallion is usually muzzled so he can't bite the mare, but I didn't see anyone objecting to that.) The argument went along the lines of "the mare wouldn't kick a stallion she wanted to mate with, so the ties are only there to facilitate rape" vs. "mares kick stallions all the time in the course of natural courtship, courtship that is often consummated. Thus it is not facilitating rape to protect the stallion, who is often more valuable than the mare anyway."

Is a veterinarian raping a mare if he puts his hand in her vagina? Or is he only raping the mare if he does that and is aroused by it?

    1. the fact that a person CAN shove their stuff up an animal does not make it right!! it is totally fallacious to compare a vet exam to a rape - false analogy ! it's like saying - hey she got an internal exam so i see no problem shoving an object up my daughters vagina- it worries me deeply that seemingly intelligent people cannot make a moral judgement

Lots of people put their penises in places (or put things in their various orifices) that disqualify them for having sex with me, at least assuming I find out about it. Part of the qualification process for having sex with me involves a level of trust, fidelity and hygiene. I had sexual contact with a dog once, 20 years ago. My husband knows and other than being annoying amused by it, he's fine with it. It wasn't a big deal. I am aware this is supposed to be considered hysterically embarrassing and makes me an irredeemably bad person in many people's eyes. Oh well.

Aside from that, the animals are probably far, far cleaner than any hooker or one-night stand would ever be.
