This animated video shows all the major battles from the last 1000 years in a map – to the tune of Wagner's "Ride Of The Valkyries." The sizes of the explosions and labels are proportional to the number of casualties. Things start to get really mad crazy after 1800.
Reminds me of Maps of War. The Religion one syncs up nicely with Gnarl Barkley's "Gone Baby Gone."
